Dubai Airport VIP Lounge & Concierge Guide: Everything You Need to Know

Dubai International Airport has some of the world's finest airport lounges. Here is how to access the best of them, and what Curo's concierge service adds to the experience.

Dubai International has lounges across all three terminals, anchored by the Emirates First Class Lounge in Terminal 3 and the Marhaba network covering all three. The best VIP lounge is the Emirates First Class Lounge — a spa, cigar lounge, and à la carte dining — but a lounge pass alone won't clear the 45+ minute immigration queue, so a meet and greet adds fast track and a named driver at arrivals.

How Many Lounges Does Dubai Airport Have — and Which Is Best?

Choosing a Dubai airport VIP lounge is rarely about whether there is a good one — it is about which of many to pick. Dubai International serves over 85 million passengers a year across three terminals, and the lounge options reflect that scale: from the Emirates First Class Lounge in Terminal 3, among the best-regarded airline lounges anywhere, to the Marhaba network across all terminals and several independent alternatives. This guide covers what each offers and how to access them. At a glance:

| Lounge | Access | Standout feature |

| --- | --- | --- |

| Emirates First Class (T3) | Emirates First / Skywards Platinum | Spa, cigar lounge, à la carte dining |

| Marhaba | Day pass / Priority Pass / Curo | Covers all three terminals |

| Independent lounges | Day pass / Curo package | Escorted entry after fast track |

Emirates First Class Lounge (Terminal 3): The World's Best Airline Lounge

The Emirates First Class Lounge at Terminal 3 is one of the best-regarded airline lounges in the world. Located in Concourse A, it is open to Emirates First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members.

The lounge has a full-service spa with complimentary treatments, a cigar lounge, a restaurant with à la carte service, and private shower suites. It spans multiple floors, which means it rarely feels crowded even at peak times.

For eligible passengers connecting through Dubai on a long-haul itinerary, the transit experience is noticeably different.

Marhaba Lounge Network: Dubai's Original VIP Experience

Marhaba (Arabic for "welcome") is Dubai Airport's own lounge network, covering all three terminals. Day passes, Priority Pass, and various credit card partnerships all provide access.

Marhaba lounges are reliably maintained: decent buffet food, open bars, showers, business centres. They do not have the scale of the Emirates First Class Lounge, but they are clean and well-positioned throughout the airport.

Curo uses Marhaba for Gold package clients at DXB, combined with fast-track immigration and meet & greet.

Curo's DXB Concierge Service: What It Adds

Lounge access alone does not cover the full Dubai airport experience. Curo's meet and greet adds what lounges do not:

Fast-track immigration — Dubai immigration queues regularly exceed 45 minutes on arrival. Curo's fast-track service brings this under five minutes.

Named driver at arrivals — Your chauffeur transfer is confirmed and waiting after baggage collection. No queuing at taxi ranks or flagging apps in a crowded arrivals hall.

Departure management — Your greeter meets you at the terminal, handles check-in, fast-tracks you through security, and walks you to the lounge.

How to Access a Dubai Airport Lounge Without Business Class

Options without Business or First Class:

1. Day pass — Marhaba lounges accept day passes booked via the airport website or at the entrance. Prices vary by lounge and duration.

2. Priority Pass or Lounge Key — Covers Marhaba and other independent lounges across all three terminals.

3. Curo Gold or Platinum package — Includes DXB lounge access with fast-track immigration and meet & greet, regardless of ticket class. Browse the full Dubai concierge page for tiers and live rates.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best VIP lounge at Dubai airport?

The Emirates First Class Lounge in Terminal 3, Concourse A, is the benchmark, with a full-service spa, cigar lounge, à la carte restaurant, and private shower suites across multiple floors. For wider access, the Marhaba network is the best option across all three terminals.

How do I access the Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai?

The Emirates First Class Lounge is open to Emirates First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members. It is located in Concourse A of Terminal 3. There is no day-pass option, so eligibility depends on your ticket or Emirates status tier.

Can I access a Dubai airport lounge without business class?

Yes. Marhaba lounges accept day passes and Priority Pass across all three terminals. A Curo Gold or Platinum package also includes DXB lounge access bundled with fast-track immigration and a named driver at arrivals, regardless of your ticket class.

Does lounge access include fast track at Dubai airport?

Not on its own. A lounge pass gets you into the lounge but not through immigration faster. Curo's meet and greet adds fast-track immigration — clearing 45-minute queues in under five — plus a named chauffeur waiting after baggage, which a standalone lounge pass never covers.
